The Boy Who Was Swallowed by a Tiger is a 24 page story about…well…a boy who is swallowed by a tiger. But unlike Pinocchio or Jonah, he’s really okay with it all. And maybe Voltaire’s advice of ‘cultivating your garden’ is more applicable than we think. It’s young reader friendly, but wasn’t written for a young reader. Mileage will vary depending on the young reader. That’s true for older readers too.
